My Vision
My view of "bodywork" is that it means SO much more than just the physical- For me and how I treat my clients, it is the belief that "bodywork" encompasses the physical, emotional, mental, & spiritual aspects of each of us and what we do in order to bring each of these pieces into balance as individual aspects as well as having them work in harmony for our own total wellbeing.
A huge “thank you” goes out to all who encourage and inspire me, and especially for my super supportive partner, Danny <3 I love you so much!!

About ChristinaIn Spring 2008, I graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage with 500HR Certification in Massage Therapy, meeting National Certification requirements & obtaining my NC license. At this same time, I also gained certification as a Reiki Practitioner and in 2012, I completed my Master Level, giving me the ability to teach others this healing modality. In 2011, I received my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher certification, and in October 2016 completed Asheville Yoga Center's additional 300 Hour training, designating me as a Yoga Teacher at the 500 Hour level as recognized by the Yoga Alliance.
After all this time, I do many types of massage & bodywork. I do, however, have folks ask me what my "specialties" are. At this point in my career, I'd have to say that rehabilitative therapies, and prenatal/postpartum massage are where my main focus is. It is because of my passion of working with the mother-baby community, and being a mother of 2 myself that I have chosen to pursue a second career as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS). To learn more about this exciting new direction me and my business are headed, check out the "Holistic Mama" tab. Through all the work I do, I firmly believe in a holistic approach. I blend all of the things I've learned throughout the years to ensure that my clients get the most out of their time with me, as well as working in conjunction with other practitioners to offer complementary therapies. I am grateful and deeply honored that you trust me to be part of your healthcare team! |
